License to use Readless
Subject to these Terms, Pinky grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Readless. This license is for your own personal use, not for resale or further distribution. Pinky owns the Readless service, its interface, and its underlying software, excluding the content you submit.
The service
- Readless extracts and summarizes pages you submit, and recommends whether a page is worth reading, worth a summary, or worth skipping.
- An account is required so Readless can keep your reading history and compare new pages against it.
- Recommendations are generated automatically by AI models and may be wrong; you decide what to do with each page.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Readless.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Provide accurate information when creating an account, and notify us at support@pinkyapps.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Cost
Readless is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, existing users will be notified before any charge applies.
Acceptable use
- Submit only pages you are permitted to view and have analyzed.
- Do not use Readless to process content that is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share with the service.
- Do not use any automated tool to access Readless outside of the provided extension and web app, or to scrape, resell, or redistribute its output at scale.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
Content you submit
You retain ownership of the pages and content you submit. You grant Readless a license to process, store, and analyze that content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the right to submit any page you ask Readless to analyze.
Feedback
If you send us feedback or suggestions about Readless, you agree that we may use them to improve the service without any obligation to compensate you.

READLESS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SUMMARIES AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE GENERATED AUTOMATICALLY BY AI MODELS AND MAY BE INCOMPLETE, INACCURATE, OR MISLEADING. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR DECIDING WHAT TO DO WITH ANY PAGE BASED ON READLESS'S OUTPUT.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINKY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF READLESS, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA OR LOST TIME. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINKY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO READLESS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, YOU PAID PINKY FOR READLESS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Pinky harmless from any costs, damages, or liability arising from your use of Readless, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights through your use of Readless.
Termination
You may stop using Readless and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Readless will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Readless develops. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. This page reflects the terms in effect as of the date below.
