The service
- Shelf provides a browser side panel for organizing your bookmarks into workspaces, folders, and pins.
- It reads and writes your bookmarks locally through Chrome's browser APIs and does not require an account.
- It works within the bookmarks and tabs already available in your browser; it does not discover or import bookmarks from other services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Shelf.
License
Pinky grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Shelf for its intended purpose. The extension's code and branding remain the property of Pinky.
Acceptable use
- Use Shelf only to organize bookmarks and tabs you have the right to access.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or repackage the extension.
Your bookmarks
Your bookmarks, workspaces, and folder structure remain yours. Shelf reorganizes data that already lives in your browser and claims no rights over it.
Feedback
If you send us feedback or suggestions about Shelf, you agree that we may use them to improve the extension without any obligation to compensate you.

SIFTER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WHILE SIFTER IS BUILT TO ORGANIZE YOUR BOOKMARKS RELIABLY, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING YOUR OWN BACKUPS OF IMPORTANT BOOKMARKS.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINKY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF SIFTER, INCLUDING LOSS OF BOOKMARK DATA. BECAUSE SIFTER IS FREE, PINKY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO SIFTER WILL NOT EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Pinky harmless from any costs, damages, or liability arising from your use of Shelf, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights through your use of Shelf.
Termination
You may stop using Shelf at any time by disabling or removing the extension. We may discontinue or change the extension at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Shelf will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
Changes
These terms may change as Shelf develops. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
